  • Andrey   Extremely incompetent with computers at first, he was transformed by participating in Linux Networking class taught by Manu and by taking interest in high-end hardware. He joined Blue Light in July 2011 as an apprentice system administrator and soon took all hardware-related tasks upon himself, fuelling his motivation with obsessive belief that only quality hardware can provide a safe platform for any computing tasks, open source or not. Interests: hardware, remote administration, networking, non-fanatical approach to operating systems. 
  • Anand   My passion is doing research on Open Source technologies. I have years of experience in systems administration on Windows and Linux operating systems and some knowledge in web development tools / templates like Joomla and WordPress.
  • Bharathy   Started to work with Linux from my school times in Future School, Auroville. Taking care of the Financial Service servers, and the Town Hall network and supporting Town Hall computer users.
  • Bhanu   Office Administration & Manager.
  • Charles   Came to computing in 1982 from power station operations. Initially in engineering software, segued into systems administration.  Started UNIX in 1992 and Linux in 2008. Linux Questions' contributor catkin. Special interests: bash shellscript, documentation, quality processes, "work smart, not hard". 
  • Damien   10 years of good experience as a Software Engineer in Paris until 2009 in the mainstream world (Windows, Oracle, ASP, mysql, php, Perl ...). Shifted to Ubuntu as a user with Blue Light in 2009; no way to return ... Part of Blue Light to conceive and develop web applications in FOSS environment (mostly Apache, mysql, php, Jquery ...). Like to insist on conception and documentation ...
  • Daniel   Came into touch with IT world in 1985 when dealing with the programmable calculator MK-54. Since then computers became his love and good friends. Supporting Town Hall computer users.
  • Dyuman   Started off playing around with Visual Basic in Windows, shifted to Linux around 4 years ago. Currently doing Linux system administration, networking, programming and a bit of electronics
  • Phillippe   IT Engineer from 1994, never done anything else than working with computers. Dealt with system administration, project management, development: application architect, Python guru, open source evangelist.
  • Sam  Spent most of his time in front of a screen since he was 2 years old. He touched a computer for the first time at 11 and fell in love with the green screen of the Amstrad CPC with which he spent the next 2 years programming in Basic. The drama started with Windows 95. He stayed with the Microsoft OS and successors for the next 15 years to finally shift to Linux and become systems administrator in 2010.
