Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! We did it!
We shared, we laughed, we cried, we grew, we expanded, we experienced, we felt, we needed, we celebrated, we mourned...

Our first NVC Camp was a total success, inaugurating the Joy Living and Learning Centre!

YAY!

Oops, the days are passing me by...

Residential members leave, residential members arrive... Sonam, Tashi, Phuntsog return to Ladakh; Vikas and Father Augustine join us...

Karl leaves, Shantigarbha joins us...

The Camp ROCKS...

Yesterday we got to experience "Living NVC Freestyle" with Karl. It was so cool, watching people go through a range of emotions - curious, irritated, bored, impatient... "Who's our leader?" I can imagine that was a question that came up for many. "Haha, you're the leader, if you want to be, and if people want to follow you!"

So Jason and I made our request for live mediation-moving-forward-relationship-support... Mmm, met my needs for tenderness, support, sharing, understanding and being understood...

In the evening, I kind of felt like a dork, because I invited people to a dance performance at Bharat Nivas, saying that it would be "really good," and I actually found it pretty "boring." I even left early, meeting my need for choice and freedom. Yay!

Today... c'est la CNV en francais, par Alexis et Mohamed.

And the non-Frenchies planted trees. Karthik wanted to "reforest" the garden here, since we lost so many trees during the cyclone several weeks ago. Indigenous plants are the way to go...

And again... super many thanks to Ghislaine for her scholarships!

Wow, I really enjoy Karl's style. I enjoy how I experience a sense of natural flow in his facilitation, allowing for authenticity and learning at the same time. Yesterday we had a one-day "Living Energy" session, and 25 people attended. Yay, keep it up!

I'm also celebrating that I'm finding more time to myself and more self-connection. I've unconsciously been longing for empathy and to be heard. Amanda has been a real listening ear - thank you, Amanda! And this means that I'm finding more space for me to share and be present with others.

Today... Karl's "Living NVC Freestyle..." Where's that going to take us?

Clayton offered his "Self-Empathy through Self-Empowerment" workshop today. Yay, some guests came back for more!

I chilled today, paid wages, updated accounts, spoke with Saleem, and had lots of fun-empathy-laughter-hope-inspiration-cycle-dog-ride-time with Amanda. That was cool! Needs for empathy met, connection, play, lightness, release, understanding and to be heard...

People are curious about Karl's "Living Energy" work tomorrow, and I too am looking very much forward.

Yay, NVC Camp is on!

Wow, who would have guessed? 28 people (mostly guests) in Karl's Basic and 6 in Shyla's Team Building. Success!

I so enjoyed sitting in on Karl's intro, watching him free-style with flow and grace, all while sharing the basics of NVC. I was impressed and inspired. And I mourn big time that it was hard for me to feel fully present and connected, as my mind was constantly thinking of administrative stuff: workers, JCB, tea, lemon grass, chai, who hasn't registered, Financial Services, yaddi yadda. But man, Amanda helped out so much with registration! So met my need for team work, dependability and trust. Thank you, Amanda!

And, even better, she TOTALLY met my need for humour, laughter and unbelievable this evening, sharing crazy-ass stories over green tea and Xmas cake. You go, girl!

And baby, I's grateful we's putting this thing on together, sharing our home with our world-wide NVC family, ever growing.

Okay, I was dead tired not so long ago. I "should" be getting to bed...

love to all,
L'aura
