  • edit /etc/hostname
  • edit /etc/hosts
  • service hostname restart

Change the ldap master uri
  • edit /etc/ldap.conf
  • replace the uri=service.av to the appropriate hostname. Note: if the uri=///ldapi or anything else of the kind, leave it
  • service slapd restart
