INTENTIONS - Why we wanna do this...
  • offer Aurovilians a practice for living and experiencing Human Unity through Nonviolent Communication
  • make Nonviolent Communication accessible to Tamil-speaking Aurovilians
  • offer working groups a practice for working together and moving forward in Auroville's development
  • offer Aurovilians and working groups an opportunity to continue exploring important topics, such as governance, sociocracy, group decision making, team building, conflict resolution, mediation, etc.
  • give Aurovilians an opportunity to interact with quality, world-class trainers, and to attend their workshops for free (instead of traveling abroad and paying a lot of money for it)
  • identify specific working groups who want to create long-term projects or connections with the trainers (who are offering continued support)
  • kick-start Joy Living and Learning Centre
  • become a resource centre for NVC in Auroville, India, Asia and beyond
  • get Auroville's NVC community on the world map, thereby attracting more trainers, volunteers and students in the future
  • offer multi-lingual trainings in English, French, Tamil, Hindi, and more...
  • offer Aurovilians an opportunity to enrich their lives and deepen awareness, compassion, gratitude and celebration
  • attract guests who value growth in awareness and compassion
  • encourage and provide platform for interaction between guests and Aurovilians
  • increase awareness and acceptance of NVC in Auroville
  • explore similarities/differences between the ideals of Auroville and the principles of NVC
  • experience living in community, sharing and respecting our values and those of others
  • offer a space for international trainers to meet and share ideas about how NVC can benefit Auroville (working groups, education, mediation, intercultural relations)
  • share, connect, learn, celebrate, have fun...!
